Frisk deserves a lot of hate for what he did but, we also need to take into consideration that once they killed Gaster they were going to try and make a timeline like that of the original Undertale.
So we can all still hate him for putting Cross through Aaaaaalllllllll of that, but remember he had good intentions.
but that does not excuse him. In fact, when Gaster started he had good intentions. So for me, I don't hate either of them. Well, maybe Gaster.
but they both deserve to be SEVERELY punished.

In terms of all around hate, I don't think he deserves it..
But in the case for hurting Cross, emotionally and physically, he deserves SOME.
I say some because he was willing to make a sacrifice for everyone else, so they could be able to get a better living.
