– Sorry about missing the Weds update. These full pages take longer than normal, and with the Kickstarter going I ended up falling behind. Pages like this will be much more common this season, so I’ll be trying my best to stay on schedule. Thanks for your patience!
– The Magical Land of Yeld kickstarter is going strong! The project is funded and on it’s way to it’s second stretch goal, a special Chainsaw Unicorn Boss Fight! If you have’t checkout out the Kickstarter, please do., The updates include a bunch of new info and art. This is going to be the biggest Modest medusa related project so far, and whether you’re gamer, someone who always wanted to try role playing games but wasn’t sure where to start or just Modest Medusa fan I think you’ll really dig this project! I seriously doubt someone as high profile as the freaking Knight of Chains can just abscond with a bunch of the Gorgon's kids and NOT draw attention. Loose lips sink ships and all that, even if people aren't gossiping, a reward for information regarding the whereabouts of traitors and their associates would get some folks talking.
The prince is an ancient creature...he's probably very patient. He likely has spies everywhere and I bet he's just waiting for this scenario.. sweet innocent Modest comes back to visit her sisters and one of the lieutenants with a squad of soldiers behind him shows up and they swarm the farm. Were it that simple for Lord Codpiece...
Then again, there might be some internal political conflict between the Hunters of Yeld... some might be a little too ambitious, eyeing the territory of other Hunters.. Others might not be bad at all, and might turn a blind eye to the aforementioned free cities and wild lands. We already know that there are rumblings of revolution caused by Marah, and it remains to be seen if Modest will become consumed by the innate evil that resides in one of her snakes, or if her time with Jake and company will overcome the darkness.
Or I could be completely off my rocker, which is the more likely scenario. I love this comic!
