Background: Born the only son of Owen and Ursula Huo, Zeth had everything a fourteen year old boy could ever want. Born with wealth, popularity, and good looks, Zeth's future looked very bright indeed, at least until be began to lose favor with his father. He refuses to speak about what forced him to leave his home, as well as what caused the scar on his face. He's spent the past two years of his life with his Uncle in Ridgeview, South Dakoda---miserable, but alive.

(for those of you who don't know, Rebirth is the title of my modern-day AU fic, that actually has a plot outside of high school drama. Here's the summary for those interested:

Rebirth

Nearly a thousand years after the adventures of Avatar Aang and co, a new Avatar is reborn into a world where bending is lost and the elements forgotten. But with the rebirth of the Avatar comes the rebirth of an old enemy, this time armed with a deadly plan that could end the Avatar cycle once and for all. Life for the new Avatar can't get much more difficult, as he now faces the task of not only mastering the Forgotten Elements, but also trying to find the reincarnations of his one of his former live's companions. And if he even if he manages to do that, he still must face the most difficult challenge of them all: remembering.
