Alexander "Xander" Shepard and Irikah Lawson
Xander is the son of Juggernaut Shepard [link]

following the defeat of the reapers at the hand of commander J. Shepard and his crew, he and his girlfriend Tali Zorah continued to have a loving relation ship but do to the restrictions of their amino types they where unable to have kids and the technology to allow such a crossbreeding was years away with no certainty in sight. so they turned to their friend and college Professor Mordin Solus, who since the down fall of the reapers has been charged by the council to study the reapers technology to benefit all. when Mordin heard of their plight he secretly began working on a way to combine even a .01% of their DNA and after discovering the secret to the reapers immense power in the form of the chaos mass effect field, the key power to all reapers and the power source to the omega 4 relay, Mordin was then able to remove all sections of the techno-organic genetics of the reaper tech that lead to indoctrination and the body transforming into a husk. Mordin had discovered the secret behind the reapers heart, and to even his immense surprise it allows his to successfully combine the genetic material of not just Shepard ad tali(although he was only able to combine 5.5% of Tali's genetics successfully) he was able to combine the DNA of most of Shepard's crew and the DNA of some other allies, ignoring most all of the humans since Shepard was already involved. after a hundred failed attempts and embryo finally took and a child was born, named Alexander J. Shepard. at this point mordin was nearing the end of his already uncommonly long salarian life but was able the pass the remaining work on to the only other people he trusted to continue and respect his promise to help Shepard and Tali, his nephew and Dr. chakwas, both of whom were assisting in the project already. when the child was born they were all unsure of what all would happen and what he would have from the donor species, consisting of: Human, Krogan, Asari, Drell, Salarian, a combined 11% Turian and Quarian and to moridns true surprise elcor. the child appeared to be predominantly human with the exceptions of his hands and feet that bare the appearance of an amalgamation of human and krogan and the red asari markings on his face. after a through check up the final analysis was that the child was mostly human with 43% of his DNA matching that of the "Father", Cmdr.Shepard. his mind functioned like a salarian and drells, learning and retaining knowledge at unprecedented rates. like all krogan he also had organ redundancy and accelerated healing. he also had the blood rage, although more in control then any krogan ever, it was still there when needed. his entire skeletal structure was far lighter yet immensely more durable then any one of the donor races. but the most surprising feature of all was his 2 hearts, both formed of a biological metal and producing chaos biotic energies, though unnoticeable at first glance it caused the his un-usually colored and shaped eyes to have a faint glow and his black hair to develop streaks of red. his eyes are a metallic silvery color with thick yellow vertical rectangular pupils. it's because of these techno-organic hearts that what should be a body in constant self conflict is in perfect balance, leaving a uncanny human personality intact.the single uncertain factor in him that no one could be sure of was the rate of aging he would under go. at first it appeared as though it would be an elongated human life span of 250-300 years but as he got older it started to look as though he live closer to 800.
young Xander Shepard was raised by his parents J. and Tali Shepard in a loving environment that led him to to join the Specter training program at the age of 14 after the discovery of his control over a red biotic field on a higher tier then any other biotic in history,human or other wise.graduating at the age of 21, Xander became the commanding officer of the Normandy SR-8, a ionic coincidence the council could not pass up, as a Shepard only seemed fit to command the newly constructed Normandy with the children of many of Cmdr Shepards crew joining as well as few new faces and even a few veterans in the forms of Urdnot Grunt, Garrus Vakarian and geth ally Legion.
Xanders crew consisted of his trusted first officer Arisia jordan a rookie asari specter who trained and graduated with Xander, Jack Massani, son of Jack and Zaeed Massani,
Hina Taylor, daughter of Kasumi Goto and Jacob Taylor, Irikah Lawson, daughter of Thane Krios and Miranda Lawson, Kolyat Krios Irikah's older brother, and John "Joker Jr." Moreau, jokers son.
