Lore: A long time ago, a mountain shrine was devoted to a mysterious being who lived in a tea pot. The nearby villagers would come by and offer gifts and prayer so that they would have fair weather for their crops. In the spring he would summon breezes to help clean homes of dust and dirt, while bringing rain on other days to water the fields. The village and the shrine imp grew a healthy relationship, each getting what they want.
Over time, people began to forget about the imp in the tea pot. Less and less people came, and the imp was called out less and less often. One day, people stopped coming at all, and he was left to remain in solitude.
Years later, an elderly woman came across the shrine on her way home one day. Seeing the lonely tea pot, she could not resist picking it up, dusting it off, and taking it with her, for how could anyone leave such a lovely piece by itself?
When she returned home, she removed the cap, only to unexpectedly release the captive fellow from inside. At first she was shocked by the appearance of the imp before her, but after a moment of thought she introduced herself.
Now, Mim lives a quiet life alongside his elderly companion. He often helps her by doing laundry, making tea, and dealing with chores around the house that may be difficult for her to do on her own. In return, to show her thanks, she often gives him gifts, such as the shawl around his shoulders.

Ohhh man I was really excited to make this. This is for the MYO contest over at I really love the lore and style of these characters and have really fallen in love with my design. I know that they don't usually wear clothing, but I felt from the lore perspective, it makes sense why he has the shawl.
Anyway, even if he's not picked, I really want to hold onto this guy.
