I'm just guessing here but It maybe that he's moving forward and as he does the world start to take form from nothing into something
or it's him as he gets older he starts understand the beauty of the world,

It's a quote by Dalai Lama that's the center here:
Β βMan. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.β
The flag in the art whichblows the other way, in other words the past! The crumbles and waves to the right is the present getting together, what you do right now to be precise, meaning you can't see what the future is ''scrapping together'' further to the right in the picture! The whole area where the girl's standing, and that you can see is also the present.
This art is my interpretation of Dalai Lama's quote

I think I saw a comic about that a few weeks back, it's really good and it makes you think.
I really like your interpretation of it, like the part where the future is coming together when you walk your walking to it. Like shards off reality or your life a starting to form. Very amazing work.
