Holocene etinction left many niches free.Origin of this Hog descendant is unknown,but most acceptable version is that ancestors of this beast were hyppo like Hogs,which lives in North africa.

This great Browser is one of the biggest land mammals of Europe,and most common probosuid,which lives from coasts of Atlantic ocean to wast siberian taiga.

Probosuid Sylvestris is smaller than todays probosceans,its only 2m tall in shoulders and its about 3m long,but old males could be bigger.They have 4 tusks,upper pair is bigger.Their cryptic,browncolor allows them to hide in forests.Winter coat is warmer, longer and thicker

Lives in all types of european forests,from subtropicals to taiga,in asia lives only in taiga.Important part of food is leaves,branches and in cooler regions even grass.

They live in small herds,from 3 to 20 individuals.Pregnancy is 14 months long,and after that female gives birth to one,or in rare ocassions two young.
