Description

When I first started this trip called Kukuris on March 2016, I never expected it to go this far that one day I would have over 150 kukuris and a place in admin team. I've been known to be someone whose interest drops very fast after it has been squeezed dry, so this is very interesting and even new experience for myself as well! I've grown, learned and lost a lot during these years, but I still feel that I have a lot to learn, see and experience. I feel like I am still starting the journey, even if I've lived through common kukuris, prairies and aerials. But I decided to return back to past, to the year 2016 when I didn't have courage to write in english and was still using Skype to chat with people.

Riekko (finnish translation for ''willow grouse'') was first kukuri I got, through March 2016 Monthly Quest, where we had to draw kukuris with pups or eggs. I was very new in ARPGs, never heard of them before, but maybe thanks to finnish founder I learned about kukuris. I missed the event to make my own kukuri, but I'm very glad I did. I have never been good with semis, and receiving random raffled geno was best I could've hoped for. I also learned how open the Kukuri community was, as I did a journal where I looked for kukuris to draw and go so many! That kindness paid back, as from my Monthly Quest  entry, done in last days of month, I got Riekko.
Fun fact; Riekko's throat tuft is inheritable and it'll be present on all her children and grandchildren around the farm.

Hunaja (finnish translation for ''honey'') was my second kukuri and I got her very soon after Riekko. I had made two entries for the Monthly Quest and both paid me an egg ! I hoped for female and male, but sadly got two females. Hunaja was still not going anywhere, as she was different enough from Riekko to stay in my loaf. I still needed a rook though.
Fun fact; Hunaja got her scar two years after she originally was supposed to get it from her training .

To obtain a rook, I had to dip my feet into buying genos. It was interesting but scary, and I took many payments in short period of time. It was simpler time, when activity rolls were not dominating the market and you could pay with pure FP. So I did just that, I paid Kaamos (finnish translation for ''polar night'', refers to the time in the northern parts of the world when sun doesn't rise at all during the days) with my first FP sheets (one , two ). After that I started to add kukuris into Monthly Quests, both mine and as payment, so that is why my bank is even nowadays like little zoo of familiars. Anyway, Kaamos was paid and joined the loaf. During this time I had also made a very clear lore, slice-of-life style with centaurs.
Fun fact; I have no idea if he is supposed to have yellow or orange eyes. Back then there was no rules about markings and colors (just colorpick any eyecolor of these kukuris and see for yourself)

This was time when there were only three training tiers (the first three in list nowadays), so every kukuri received very similar trainings. I made myself a challenge to make them different, and that is why the kukuris have very different personalities from each other. They're also quite one-dimensional as early kukuris, but that is how I see them as; more animals. Sarastus (finnish translation for ''dawn'', used to specifically refer to time during the morning when the sun rises) was a result of my first breeding. I have a faint memory it was a split breeding, and during that time I didn't feel disappointment over one-marked kukuri. I was just happy I got more of them. Later years Sarastus has earned himself a name as disappointment, but that is said with most sincere love~
Fun fact; Sarastus is fan of everything sugary, especially syrup. He also is only kukuri who I draw fur pointing backwards towards his neck on top of the head.

Kastanja (finnish translation for ''chestnut'') was another pup from the same breeding where I obtained Sarastus. Her story was supposed to take in separate place, but it seems she has moved finally back home with her brother, thanks to her handler's story merging with others. She was simple pup too, but I had no regret over the breeding. She was new gene-wise for me in my loaf, so I was only happy for the results. Even nowadays she seems to be a little forgotten, not being part of the 'main' lore of mine, but I still have time to continue her story as well. Fun fact though; she was mostly raised by the dog of her handler, thus acting a lot like one.

It was really fun to try to memorize things from the start ;v; I was surprised how the group has changed in short time actually!
And you're not only one who says that >:3c I shall challenge you to do something similar with your kukuris immediately! I want to hear your stories as well.

ahaha yeah, it was cool reading how you mentioned that kukuris were quite one-dimensional as they were just animals because Max is the same way and I hadn't really thought about it before. I shall rise to the challenge and make one!
