What colours do u use to mix for blond hair?

Colours are always affected by the ambient lighting, turned off the lights and the blonde hair would be black.. so there's is really no answer, just like skin. As you can see in the pic you commented on, the hair has greens and and other reflected lights in in. For normal daylight I suppose 3 tones are enough, start with your base coat of a mid to darkish cool brown, just block it in. Next a mid tone creamier mix of the same colour by adding some more white and a little yellow, perhaps yellow ochre, just blending in largish areas where the highlights will be positioned, the finally add more white to the same mix and paint in the highlights. I hardly ever paint in individual strands, they never look right and it's boring to do anyway! Hope this helps.

That helped a lot and I thank you very much for answering because that is something that I have been wondering for a long time. For skin colour I mixed green and pink and used white for highlighting. It looked terrible but I need to take classes on painting portraits. It means a lot that someone so talented like you replied to me
