Description
Mojo is a powerful, interdimensional being who rules over the realm known as Mojoworld. He is part of a race of spineless beings known as the Spineless One from a planet later named after him known as Mojoworld in a pocket dimension dubbed the Mojoverse. The race were slowly driven insane by "Television Signals" from Earth-616. They travelled about on spider-like robotic platforms allowing them to conquer the planet.

Mojo is known for his obsession with creating and broadcasting violent and sensationalized TV shows featuring captive Mutants who are forced to battle each other for his entertainment. He's a master of manipulation, often using mind control and other forms of manipulation to bend mutants to his will. Mojo has a long history of confrontation with the X-Men and others, especially Longshot and Spiral, two beings from Mojoworld that managed to escape his control. Mojo's shows are a source of entertainment for the inhabitants of his dimension, where they are extremely popular and Mojo is regarded as a god-like figure. Mojo has a twisted and sadistic personality, and has no qualms about sacrificing the lives of his "actors" for the sake of his shows and is willing to go to any lengths to ensure their success. Despite his fearsome reputation, Mojo is not considered to be a major threat to the X-Men, and is more of a nuisance or distraction for the team.
