Did you know that Dead Space 4 or whatever it was going to be was actually "confirmed stopped but not dead"? Yeah EA Games Dead Space director said that even though Dead Space 4 won't be a thing now, they're working on things now because of one thing: "Why make new installments of a popular series non-stop when you can make a new series and make it legendary as the other." Basically speaking they're experimenting with new series before ending the Dead Space story, most likely.

Really? Why does everyone think DS3 was boring. Here's why I think the new installments of horror-survival games like the Resident Evil and Dead Space series are either boring or not "scary enough" is because why make it so jump scary or other scary stuff when we have been through it all. We're use to it. I admit Dead Space 2 was awesome, but after the jump scare happened it only startled me to shoot. Dead Space 3 you would of been waiting for one.

For me the story was executed so blandly compared to 1 and 2. Other than that, it was just little things that kept me from LOVING it rather than just liking it. No original plasma cutter, Isaac's shouts, screams etc from Dead Space 2 (annoying as hell), no Advanced Suit even though it was in the game before the final game. Co-op partner choice. The story should have focused on Isaac and Ellie in such a way that she would be player number 2, in my opinion anyway.

It's ok, I wasn't in it for the horror anyway since beating Dead Space 1. So I don't see lack of scares as an issue with the third game.

That's what everyone's actually been complaining about with 3. But here's my favorite Dead Space games in order of how much I liked the story: Dead Space 2, Dead Space 3, and Dead Space.

For me, at least right now, it's a tie between the first and second game. Though I still like the third game.

I thought the first Dead Space was scary. Not jumping scary style, but scary like Silent Hill.
The second contains more action.
