well a lot.. seasamaru inherits his mother's powers (flames, ice, healing etc.) witch gives away that his mother (Varka) would've had to have the them and would mean she kept it from her husband (seasa's father) witch causes a fight between them and he leaves and seasa's mother blames seasa for everything that happened witch ends up in her not really caring for him
(seasa's dad hates people with magic powers, he seems them as freaks witch is why he hates seasa and never wants to be seen around him)
that's just a rough example of what happens qvq very patchy as it's a work in progress
