Interesting quote, I don't entirely agree, but I like where it is coming from. Everyone, besides the insane, has to tolerate reality for the most part, its called being conscious... Reality is full of amazing things anyway. I think however, that artists and other creative types tap into the unrealistic more often. In fact, usually in an attempt to make it a reality...
Anyway, it was the first quote I came across that I liked and was as long as I needed.

I guess. I draw (no pun intended) inspiration from reality, especially animals.
But I suppose I am also engaged in imagining a better world much of the time.

For me i tolerate reality when i have to go to work or do other important grown up things, but other then that reality can go fork itself up the arse for all i care.

...speaks to ME in this context; "I am an artist, a retired, old, left-lane hippie chic. I am now, in addition, claiming a new component to my identity, Mommy. This... I NEVER IN THREE LIFETIMES, thought, wanted, planned, or yearned to be. Thus throwing me into the hot, glowing embers of a concrete reality. One like no other, I've been obliged to partake in 40yrs spent roaming around this planet! So..."The lines of reality are clear and comprehensible as spelled out boldly in your creation. Then there's the good stuff. The exquisite, original, imaginative detail within the words themselves, and that is where my heart and mind like to live comfortably. Reality bites, and stings, and can be boring and mundane, repetitive, still healthy to maintain perspective and direction in MY life, BUT the detail is relative to my soul, emotion, expression, imagination, distinction, creativity, love, weirdness, nerdiness, beauty, and heightened sense of awareness to the details in the fabric of everyday life NOW as a person responsible for ANOTHER person and literally teaching life to her now. I remain open-minded (ultra-expanded). Seeing the beauty and wonderfully fantastic view, of things in the details, between lines of reality, where sadly, some will never experience and are just unable to go, and see what I've seen, so that I may see all aspects of my life from both, on the lines, and within. Truly blessed. Never sabotage, ignore, or waste a creative, alternative, intelligent, talented mind...such a bummer! #stayweirdforever

Reality is nothing more than a broken concept, we judge what is real by our perception of the world around us. Since every being on this planet sees, thinks and feels differently and these things change constantly there are infinite perceptions, which results in infinite realities.

I believe there are some absolutes. We may all perceive things differently, but that doesn't change what they inherently are. We don't all create a different reality, we just each have a different understanding of it. You might see green the same way I see red, but we both call it green. Though I suppose that idea can't be applied to everything.
