cool! I could also imagine this scene where there is a crazy scary monster with huge teeth towering above the very serene nonchalant child.

Wow, I don't even know what to say. I just love the feeling I get when I look at this. There's just something with the technique you used, and of course the subject matter instantly draws me...

Ahh, makes so much sense. I've had an inexplicable love for Sendak since I was little. My favorite book back then was the "Midnight Kitchen." Which is such a weird story when I think about it now.
