Description A momentary break from the BOOKS. An old (1987?) inkxperiment, throwing thinned, oil-base printing ink, mixed with water, at pieces of paper. I do miss having a place where I can make a huge mess. I was living a derelict department store at the time.

A Pollockesque technique! There's been some controversy over whether Pollock's drip-paintings are 'analysable' in terms of fractals, and this piece reminds me of certain fractals like this one . There's a kind of intuitive logic in that the act of throwing the ink may be governed by some kind of attractor...
