Description
(2019) Jack Pumpkinhead from the 1985 Disney film "Return to Oz", which was based on a couple of books in the original Oz series. He was built by Princess Ozma and animated with the Powder of Life in order to scare off the evil witch Mombi. He was too friendly and simple-minded to truly be threatening. He later teamed up with Dorothy Gale to escape the witch's palace and storm Nome King's mountain to save the Emerald City. In the Oz books, his body was so feeble that the Powder of Life was used on a sawhorse to give him a steed to ride.
Fun fact: Jack Pumpkinhead inspired Tim Burton to create "The Pumpkin King" Jack Skellington.
