Description The first Military Orders were created at the end of the Harsean Crusade in 2874, where survivors of failed expeditions developed unique skills after years of isolation, and triumphed in the end against all odds. The leaders of the Second Empire decided to found army chapters with specific tasks in mind.

Currently theit members are posted to difficult locations, where the use of modern weapons is not as reliable or useful. In the depths of Lostfate regions, the train supplies might run dry for months or even years and the beasts. Despite their antiquated appearance the soldiers of the Military Orders are adept to powder and bladed weapons alike. Their mix of modern uniforms and old-fashioned armor is a necessity when they fight in close quarter combat with dangeorus beasts that roam the wastelands. They are an elite force ready to tackle what other can't, but that also comes with the price of immense hubris.

Even nowadays their forces are not fully integrated into the army apparatus of the Third Empire: their budgets and recruitment are independent, but they will answer the call to war (if they see enough honor or reward). It is not rare to see in some theaters of war leaders from a Military Order acting as advisors for the regular armies, even when their own troops are not involved.

Some of the most famous chapters are:

Order of Serene Meditation
Order of Harsean Vigilance
Order of the Southern Triple Star
Order of Marshal Sevesrie
Burning Beacon of Elkon (women only)
Sacred Watchower of Cledwyn (Disbanded for Blasphemy in 3799)
Hope of Old Brigos
Order of Obsidian Glory (Disbanded for massacres against civilians)
Order of Master Colenzo
