Yeah, this was at a rural train station. The two were just waiting a while on a train I think. Italian, why not sleep? 😊

Puppers seemed happy enough but I've got a few shots with a similar look from dogs waiting, I find the look interesting... don't know why at all.

We all seem to be waiting in this world anymore.....waiting on the good parts, waiting on happiness or fulfillment and of course endlessly waiting on love for all of us. If your young and good looking of course they get to romp in the physical part of love that looks kinda like love, but of course isn't at all, but it's better than being alone I guess. It gets you past a few years before you learn that truth and just how difficult real love is to find. And we all have that look you spoke about, but human beings are masters at hiding whats inside us where animals are much too honest for that. We should learn all we can from them as they're much smarter than we are in many ways.

That's just it.

The longing look is universal, when we've conditioned our pets to look like that it makes me think that there's a serious issue with our global society.

Anyway, I have loads of these that I've not yet processed, I love the look, it speaks to me in weird ways.

What breaks my heart and makes me want to give up is when you tell me that that "it makes you THINK there is a serious global issue." There is not one tiny doubt about this serious issue and has been happening now for the last 30 years compared to the previous society that actually used to be nice to each other and actually civil more often than not.
I wonder why it has taken so long for others to recognize this trend or pattern that is ruining our people and brutalizing our very souls to the point of mental illness in many cases as our health records clearly show the rising trend. If not mental illness, then at least anxiety and depression issues to deal with while hardly anyone feels loved or fulfilled anymore and we all have great difficulties with relationships.
I personally think it all stared with woman failing to raise children and letting the government and media do that so woman could join the work force to get HD wide screen televisions and three automobiles and new stupid cell phones every year that do a thousand things we NEVER USE OR NEED but of course we pay big money to own one to the point of wrapping our identity in the brand we buy while a handful of corporate clowns get filthy rich. Wealth and cash has become our god and I now am forced to live in a society that disgusts me and that I feel totally alienated from and have nothing in common with.
I wish you nothing but the best, and hope perhaps one day you'll be the ONE to change it all back to decent people being in control once more.
