Sketch04 of my ten-sketch challenge

I love Vivi a lot. And I finally figured out what bothered me about the voice they gave him in Kingdom Hearts... it's not sad enough. I've been thinking on that for a long time, why they small-child voice I knew he needed was not quite on par with what I've been hearing. I think its because KHVivi sounds like a grown-up doing a kids voice. Really, he should sound like a kid doing a grown-up voice. High pitched, but honestly, the little guy has dealt with enough emotional baggage to age his soul up to the level of his "adult" (I say quotation marks because sixteen year olds are not adults, sorry..) companions. So that's my take on it. I love drawing Vivi happy, sad, this one looks determined... all those emotions that he felt. He was more human than a lot of people we see in fiction now adays. A really great character.
