They were once ruthless and ambitious tyrants that brought entire civilizations to its knees and had plans of conquest for world domination.

In their time of conquest however they would be betrayed by a close ally who had then left them for dead (Malak and Orin).

After experiencing the life-threatening situation that put them near death's door, they would lose their memories as a result of this; leading them to often have an identity crisis of questioning who they are and where they come from thus they embark on a journey to learn more of whom they are.

On their adventures through circumstances, would join up with a small band of heroes where they would form meaningful bonds and friendships with whom they would share together many adventures, joys and laughter with.

During their said adventures, both would learn of their forgotten pasts where they would discover the horrifying truth that they themselves were the very villains who were responsible for the destruction of many worlds and ruining the lives of others which they had difficulty coming to terms with.

Both are given the daunting choices that would decide the ultimate fate of their worlds whether they choose to return to the life of a diabolical tyrant they once were themselves were to continue their reign of terrors for more power or to instead choose the bonds and friendships they had formed with their companions, not allowing their dark destinies define who they are and atone for their past misdeeds thus finding the strength to stop the plan they once masterminded in the process.

Tormented and morally-conflicted individuals who wane between the light and dark yet are strong-willed and courageous; both of them often struggle with their villainous natures and the dark powers of their respective universes often tempting them back into becoming that former evil selves the world once feared, but they would both ultimately reject their dark legacies, destroying everything they ever built to walk the path of redemption and that of a noble hero who fights for the side of good and for their friends + loved ones [for Redeemed Dark Urge].
