EPISODE 6: "In the Shadows"

This is a stand-alone sequel to "Star Trek: Andromeda - Devastation".

A Short Description Of The Story:
Nari Irani is figuring out why Sykes was sent with them on this mission. She confronts him, but he defends himself by saying he has direct orders from the Admiral. His mission is to retrieve the technology that caused the anomaly. Chancellor Benza refuses to release the technology because it is too dangerous. Sykes switches from negotiations to threats. When Sykes goes too far, Captain Irani stops him. Benza thanks her for saving his life, but demands that Midway leave their galaxy immediately. The accident has already happened, the damage is catastrophic but cannot be undone, and further research into the technology has already been suspended, so there is no further danger. Benza demands that they return to the Federation with this information and never return again. However, the crew of the Midway soon find out that things are a little different, and the Kallatarrians are just trying to cover up the true purpose of their experiment...
