Fawful I think was fine for what he was, and admittingly I thought it was pretty cool that he made a comeback in BIS as a Prime-Time Villain. That being said I do sorta roll my eyes whenever I see people demand Fawful to appear in anything outside of the M&L series, cuz that's really where I think he belongs.
Then again that's pretty much how I feel about every RPG-Exclusive character, they really only belong in their RPG-Exclusive Worlds (even the friggin Star Spirits, never understood why they had to be used for Mario Party 5 |D).

Yeah, you're right that Mario RPG characters should only stay exclusive to those games, it's really annoying that they want fawful in other games like Mario Kart 8.

I sorta think he's way better than most of the characters in the franchise (King Boo's still the best), I prefer him than lame-ass shit characters like Geno or Fawful tbh or Rosalina....I mean he sorta has personality...Rosalina is sorta boring tbh

he may have personality but it feels like he took most if not all of that from Wario anyway.
and if you want my honest opinion, Rosalina is a faaaar better character than Waluigi, if only cuz she's one of the most grounded and overall interesting characters in the series. Waluigi on the other hand is just some creep who's just there just to give Luigi something that Mario already has.
That's really just my two cents anyway. Love him if you want, but you'll never convince me Waluigi is a good character.

In my opinion, I feel like he was a waste of thought in the mario universe. He has somewhat of a empty personality, He has that annoying voice, ( mainly the laugh ), and he copies Wario alot.
The only use I can think of him would be, Hey, somebody has to hate Luigi, and since they made Wario to hate Mario, can't leave the man in green hanging.
Idk how much thought Nintendo put into this guy, I feel like they rushed on him and his main and only reason of existance is to hate Luigi.
But that's my opinion. And opinions are like assholes, everyone has one :V

Also, i doubt that Wario and Waluigi hate Mario and Luigi. they're just counterparts. they're not even evil.
Personally, i believe Waluigi was made because Nintendo needed a counterpart for Luigi. they have one for Mario. and Nintendo needs to make some funny characters in the Mario franchise. that's why Waluigi was made. to be funny. and to be Luigi's counterpart.

I sorta disagree and think Rosalina's a bit more of a waste of time...I mean we have two princesses already, another one (especially one that has more similarities to Peach) isn't needed nor wanted. Though I don't nessesarily hate her. And Mario has other characters that are even bigger wastes of time such as more babies, more metal clones and more Toads, you're probably lucky that a Metal Waluigi or Baby Waluigi doesnt exist.

eh long story short, he feels like an unnecessary gap filler and he's pretty much just like Wario only he's made to represent an opposite to Luigi rather than Mario, which I think is only the kind of magic that can work just once.

"feels like" isn´t the same as "is". Since this is your opinion about the character, i can´t change it.
Waluigi and Wario, simply put, are not the same character. Waluigi may have been one day a tall and skinny Wario ( just like Luigi was, until Luigi´s Mansion), but he changed.
Wario represents the inverted opposite to Mario: where Mario is a honest, ideal and humble ( or at least he used to be) man, Wario is a greedy, mischievous jerk who does the same things Mario does, but with his own spin. Mario fights enemies, takes over castles and rescues the princess ( his prize). Wario smashes enemies, robs the stages blind and fights over his prize with someone greedier
So is Waluigi. Luigi is nice, scaredy and positive. Waluigi is angry, bitter and confrontational. Luigi spends his time helping out his bro. Waluigi is too selfish and self-centered to help anybody. In a way, Waluigi seems to be an overconfident character who acts exactly like Wario. Except there is one major difference. Like Luigi, Waluigi is insecure, awkward and jealous. However, he takes these traits and drives them much further. He works very hard to thwart his rival because he thinks that, when he does, people will start to like him. Nobody in the Mushroom Kingdom likes Waluigi. When he debuted in Mario Tennis, he seeked to, alongside Wario, take the Bros´place and become a respected and liked figure. Nowadays, he simply goes around, thwarting the days and fun of others whenever he can. He wishes for nothing more than to take over the world and make everyone as sad and miserable as he.
I could go on for much longer, but i don´t think you would read it. I just presented a small part of my thoughts as to why is he different than Wario, and some of Waluigi´s traits and character charm. And yeah, he is kinda filler. His only major roles so far were 3: Mario Party 3 ( he was the penultimate boss and stole Bowser´s place), DDR: Mario Mix ( the central antagonist( and Mario Party-E ( the centre of the Waluigi´s Reign and Time Bomb ticks minigames, where he tries to defeat Mario).

I can see where you're coming from, that said though I rarely ever feel Waluigi makes much of an impact outside of those games you mentioned, and the intros to the Camelot Mario Sports games.
but yeah, my opinions on him are just that, opinions. I can't force anyone to think my way otherwise I'd just come off as an asshole (lol). It's just that sometimes I feel they could've used other characters for spin-offs rather than making Waluigi, like a Hammer Bro, or Captain Syrup, or Pauline or whatever. xD

I can understand perfectly why you feel this way about him. As much as he is my favorite character in the franchise, i can see that people can think of him as "bland", "lame", "unoriginal", etc. In his first appearence, the japanese Mario Tennis website described him as " Wario´s brains". A smart, cunning man who prefers to think through things. He wants to take the Mario Bros place" In the first game, we can see he is Luigi´s angry and narcissistic rival. Lame ? Maybe, but that´s far more character than Luigi or Daisy had in their first appearences. Then, he evolved into something much greater. I didn´t want to talk too much about the character he is now because it would be too much text.
I wish we had characters like Syrup, Pauline or Wanda in the spin-offs. And i also wish for Waluigi to be his own character a bit more. You know, be the main villain again, or the protagonist of some crazy, self-centered adventure like Psycho Waluigi. I wish they introduced Waluigi in some other game that wasn´t "Mario Tennis". I like this character and i know he has a lot of potential. I just get more and more pessimist with every opportunity to use him ( especially now that Luigi is getting the spotlight) being wasted. I just don´t feel like we should judge the character based on what he feels to be.

I was gonna write about the "Waluigi is unappealing" thing is not an fact, just an opinion, but i decided to ask a better question
Why do you take so long to reply ? I mean, it´s been nearly a month, it´s a new year and i thougth we were done with the replies a long time ago. If you are simply going to drag this in order to keep nagging about Waluigi and how he sucks and blah blah blah, then what´s the point ?

Yeah sorry i was tempted to comment back but i'd say 'screw it' and move on and i mean sure he may have appeared in brawl dance dance revolution other than sports and racing but that's about it and to be recently fair he is nowhere near as villainy as wario (even though he's more of a anti-hero) and bowser but i'm not saying he recently sucks he just gotten a hang of doing nothing but sports (with other powers of his),racing,bob-omb, and dancing.
The only credit i have to give him is his comic relief personality and his attitude that was even the opposite of luigi's but he himself is nothing more of a heighted up version of wario and luigi.
But once again it's just my opinion and facts.

I´ll admit that he wasn´t very popular when he appeared and he still has a good share of haters, but he seems to have a good deal or fans nowadays. At least from where i come from.
And besides, out of the current Mario regular characters who do not have their own games ( Jr, Toad, Daisy and Rosalina), he is the most likely choice. He may not be the most popular ( Rosalina), but he certainly isn´t the most hated Mario character ( the babies and possibly Jr) and he is the one with the most potential out of these.

I understand your opinion but I quickly realize that the name Waluigi is just luigi and wario mashed up as I played few or some all of the Mario's spin off games but I've pretty much seen the characteristics to him which to me is just flat out unappealing,weird and has the appearance of a combination between Captain Hook and dick dasterly yes I can't believe I actually said it in my thoughts.
With that said, I'm not going to change your opinion nor bashing I was only giving the facts about Waluigi himself but then again it's just me.

Whoa, back up there because Waluigi is not a carbon copy of Wario.
Waluigi is a deviant, scheming mastermind that is much smarter than he lets on. The guy literally has plenty of unseen potential and hidden personality.
