Your cat reminds me of a Blackadder. I love it Painting loose is better, in my opinion. It's far more expressive and that's what art's about

When you say my cat reminds you of a Blackadder are you referring to the snake or the BBC sitcom starring Rowan Atkinson? (The captilization and conjoinment of the word has confused.) ... Either way, I suppose, I'm happy you like him. :]I do enjoy paintings that are done in a loose manner. But I don't think any style of painting can be called better than another.

I'm referring to the work of Elizabeth Blackadder [link] I think loose is more fun, I love doing it. Always find myself trying to do it perfectly whenever I paint though, lol

Oooh, I see. Can't say I'm familiar with Elizabeth Blackadder. I did do a quick image search on her though and her work looks lovely. Thanks for pointing her out to me!I agree painting loosely is more fun. :] There isn't so much pressure to render everything flawlessly. Plus it's a lot faster. : P If I let myself get caught up in making every little detail perfect then I can take forever to finish a painting... And then working on it just becomes a chore.
