History

Dalton was born in a rural area of the Southern US to a former human military leader and his wife. While war continued through his young years, the adolescent Dalton matured quickly not only in matters of how to act as the child of an officer, but through his desire to learn about his quickly changing world. This ‘desire’ led the young man not only to his love of languages, but also and introduced to his former profession. Approached shortly after starting high school by a friend of his father’s regarding a job as a ‘runner’, the teen took well to the world of weapon dealing, selling and trading weapons under the careful eye of the older man. Being the underdog didn’t suit the young man for long, however, and by his last year of high school, he eclipsed the older man’s expectations –and broke all ties to start a business of his own.

With a quick mind for business, his natural charm, and the right connections, the young Brigsby quickly found himself in the business of defense (or the means of such). In spite of being in a new era of peace, hidden paranoias kept buyers at his doors and allowed the young man the chance to travel around the world. He was not the only one to have this same train of thought, and by the end of his 24th year, the intensely competitive nature of his niche in the market (and the weight of his actions) drove Dalton to pursue other opportunities.

Approached one evening after a particularly rough transaction, the younger Dalton was propositioned by an operative of DAMMED with an alternative to his lifestyle – to serve in DAMMED’s cause and promote goodwill between human and demon kind. Although knowing that it would be a drastic lifestyle change, the young adult agreed.
