This lady looks so much like Jubilee, what really confuses me is where Jubilee and Storm gets turned into vampiresses-I sort of understand how Jubilee's character needed lot more excitement, but being turned into a vampire has tendacy to ruin ones whole day!

Sorry about that, Karma looked too close to Jubilee, Ive missed out much on what happened to Jubilee when she transitioned from teen to adult. Do you have links /comic info where I read for free on the older Jubilee? That Marvel Comics Online is a paysite, Thats not going to work

Xi'an!! I love her but I don't understand why Marvel doesn't give her enough love. She's a great character with quite a bit of depth but all writers seem to want to do is make her fat or chop off her leg. How come writers are so cruel to the few LGBQT characters we have? Grr. Enough of my frustration with that...
I really love seeing art of Karma because there is so few of it. She's an under-appreciated character so when she gets drawn as gorgeously as this I end up feeling like I could rave for days. The Karma in the background really draws my attention. I think it's the power effect. I've always loved the way her powers manifest as it gives her quite a bit of uniqueness. There are so many psychics in the Marvel universe so her power effect helps her to stand out a bit more. I can't help but feel like Xi'an is trying to control my mind... or maybe she's trying to control her writers "GIVE ME BACK MY LEG! GIVE ME A HOT GIRLFRIEND! MAKE ICEMAN GAY ALREADY WE ALL KNOW HE IS!" The Karma in the foreground is just all kinds of awesomeness. I haven't caught up with the character much (I stopped reading New Mutants right before Age of X) so I'm not sure if that's a new costume or not. I know you sometimes do your own designs for these characters so you'll have to let me know if that's the case here. If it is your design... wow... it's cool! Either way, I love her hair! It's modern but there's still a little retroness to it that I really like. I see that you've put quite a bit of effort into drawing Karma in terms of her ethnicity. I can tell that she's Asian. I *love* it when artists put the effort in to rendering a character's ethnicity. She doesn't just look like some random white chick with black hair so that's awesome. Anyway, this is a fab piece of work! Love it!
Also... I couldn't help but read some of the comments below and... Dani and Xi'an would be amazing together! I always found their bond to be close enough to give evidence for a potential relationship between the two. I've always gotten a bit of a gay vibe from Dani. I didn't really like the idea of Dani with Sam since they've always acted like brother and sister... plus... Sam had just gone through that super hot homosocial thing with Iceman during Mike Carey's tenure on X-Men.

sadly, i didn't design this costume. but, you should know she is know a full fledged x-man and in astonishing x-men with wolverine, northstar, iceman, gambit, cecelia reyes and warbird.
i have really tried to show characters race over the past couple of years. i don't have it down quite yet but still trying
they have been flirting with hooking dani up with x-man aka nate grey who is on the new mutants with her.

Yeah, I knew Karma was part of the Astonishing title. I haven't had the chance to keep up with it though. I'm a little disappointed Dazzler didn't get thrown on because then it TRULY would have been the gay team. 
I know what you mean about the difficulty with trying to show the ethnicities of characters. I have a hard time with it myself. I do tend to notice that face shape and lips can often help to get a more accurate reflection of a certain race.
X-Man is back? I thought he was gone for good. Ugh. I'm not a huge fan of alternate reality characters so I'm disappointed they're all filtering back into the titles. It's like the '90s all over again. Plus, it doesn't do much for a character like Cyclops who ends up seeming like he's 45 because he's got alternate reality kids.
