Only complaint is, Rear Admiral Lower Half is the same as Commodore. They are both the first admiral rank.
It used to go Commodore, Rear Admiral, Vice Admiral, Admiral
But after the Navy changed over time, and the rank of Commodore no longer went along with the position, the rank was changed to Rear Admiral Lower Half, and Rear Admiral became Rear Admiral Upper Half.

Oh, trust me, I know. I actually am a military officer, though Air Force. I just like the inclusion of the rank because, heck, it sounds cool, and this is my own personal continuity.

I had a thought. Kinda like how Army has two different ranks at E-4 (Specialist and Corporal), based on position. I am thinking the same thing could apply for the Admiral rank. Those actually commanding fleets could be called Commodore, and those in more administrative capacity could be called Rear Admiral (lower half) even as they are the same rank.
Just a thought ^_^
