So i watched a Hong Kong Die Hard clone called "Meltdown"(or "High Risk" known in other places) from netflix last week,

and my goodness, it's completely bonkers!

The scene where this drawing is related, has two of the main characters jump into a tiny car, drive it in a hotel full of bad guys and shooting them, running them over and in process, killing about 50 people? They somehow manage to not get shot from every possible directions, while getting their car torched up by a flamethrower.

It's a movie that stars Jet Li, as a former commando/secret agent/bomb squad member turned into bodyguard of a famous Hong Kong action star, who's famous for doing his own stunts, but who in reality is a coward drunken womanizer (this movie is also making fun of Jackie Chan with this character, as the director of this movie and Jackie had a falling out during their previous collaboration; "City Hunter" and Jackie badmouthed the director on public).

So they get invited for this big hotel party with all these famous people and lots of jewelry for bad guys to steal. From that point on, it's Die Hard all over again, only it's batshit insane! This is the kind of movie where a busload of kids can get blown up, and in the next scene we see moviestar character sniffing camerman's ass while drunk out of his mind xD.

You never know what you're going to see next. It sometimes feels like a naked gun version of Die Hard with it's crazy comedy antics, but it also moves in incredibly high energy and the action is fast and brutal at times. The fights are well coreographed too! You'll get two kickass fight scenes near the end, one featuring Jet Li and otherone featuring the drunken moviestar, redeeming himself and putting up a hell of a fight, in Bruce Lee's famous yellow-with-black-stripe outfit.

At first i wasn't sure if this movie was incredibly bad or simply genious, but regardless, i ended up falling in love with it! It offers the kind of stuff in such of mix you'd never see in a big budget hollywood production. There's really not a single boring moment, because of all the crazyness going on and the high energy level.

The filmmaking is rough around the edges, but in my opinion, it just made the whole movie all the more charming and hilarious.

If you're in a mood for a goofy action movie, or want to watch something with your friends while getting intoxicated, it's pretty much a perfect choice C:
