The shading in this is a good example of cell shading/colouring. And the eyes really stand out!
If you want to try something different, a tip I found helpful when trying shading ( I still am ¬¬ ) is to experiment with shading colours- perhaps a dark blue or purple, or a dirty brown/red and then mix in to a black or grey edge. You will be really surprised how much of a difference this can make to pictures I still have not got the hang of this, but it is still tons of fun to try!
