I finished this over a week ago, I have no idea why I haven't posted it yet
Customary soppy picture for Joe to celebrate our twoyearsaversary last week. People who've watched me for a long time will know how awesome he is. I can't believe he's put up with me for that long. But I'm overwhelmingly glad that he has, because I'd be buggered without him. These have been the bestest cuddliest nerdiest two years ever, and I hope we have many more. Joe I know you stalk my dA so hey o3o You're my bestest buddy and you've taken such good care of me. You're awesome and I love you, so never stop being awesome. And never cut your hair. <3
Sorry if the quality isn't that great, I'm not used to uploading traditional work anymore and it wasn't really made with the intention of posting it here anyway. But aaaaah I miss coloured pencils so much, even though they take forever ;u;

We went and saw a movie--an animated thing that looked pretty.

The movie was called "Epic" It was another one of those "battle of good and evil magic, crazy dad spends his life believing in it and daughter thinks he's crazy, etc..." cliche, but it still had some pretty animation.

Aah, I've seen posters and promos for that going around! The artwork does look pretty awesome, I have to admit. I doubt I'll go and see it myself, nobody will want to go and watch a 'kid's film' with me D':

That's half the reason he agreed to go with me--he's really big on CG and animation and really wants to work for a movie company someday. I don't think it was all that worth it to see it in theaters anyway. He liked it (mostly because the amount of cliches made it kind of funny) but I thought it was.... meh.

Yeah... I'm trying to stay somewhat optimistic without letting my hopes get too high. You see, he had to break up with his previous partner because of family problems a little over two months ago, and in dating me, he's worried that 1. I'll just be -inadvertently- rubbing salt in the wound of his previous relationship and 2. I'd get tangled up in his problems and end up hurt for no reason.
