Description my girl Etney is amassing quite a fanbase over on Tumblr and I absolutely love drawing her, I love her so much

I'm still working on a full reference sheet for her costume and all her markings but this was a good excuse to work out what her arms look like underneath her usually baggy tunic and thick bracers - she's pretty slender compared to most Dragonborn and even at 6'4'' is considered slightly-below-average height but she does a lot of climbing so she's still pretty muscular, even if it's more wiry than beefy. The plates on her shoulders and elbows are rock-solid and she files down any sharp edges so they don't snag on her clothes

I'm going to take this as a challenge to somehow make a DnD universe with a 100% lore-friendly gun. xD

lmao knowing the amount of fuckery you can get away with without technically breaking canon, it's entirely possible (I guess it depends which universe you're playing in? there's a Star Wars version of D&D which I'm assuming has many guns in it)

im determined to make it work in a fantasy context, but then again there's a lot of stuff im disregarding and reworking

like nonsense about certain races having a natural inclination to evil which i think is... limiting at best and deeply problematic at worst

For our campaign we're using the bare minimum of canon and basically doing whatever we want. It's a world of the DM's own creation anyway so most of the lore regarding D&D canon such as Forgotten Realms or Greyhawke just straight up doesn't exist. And I don't think any of us payed particular attention to all those racial tropes during character creation either, the closest we have to anyone actually fitting an archetype is a chaotic neutral Tiefling who just doesn't give a shit about the rest of us. I have yet  to determine whether or not we can have fantasy guns but you can bet I'm gonna try and find one
