I have a Snape as a profile and avatar pic and it doesn't have a very Snapeish nose at all xD
It's kind of old so I wasn't really good at drawing noses and the nostril doesn't make sense lol
I still like the coloring though and the rest of it so I'm not thinking of changing it.

"C" is the official winner, due to the universal appeal of the Snape Sneer, but I am often tempted to change my mind and pick "D" instead. There's something to be said for the elegant simplicity of the Nose alone.

I think you're the first person to vote for one of the red versions. I created those first simply because I always use vivid fire-engine red as an accent color with black, but I've come to the conclusion that as Head of Slytherin House, Snape should not have Gryffindor red in his logo. The green lettering is my own conception of Slytherin green -- a sort of dark leaf green. I developed it to use for the lining of Sev's cape (and for Harry's eyes) in my "John Wellington Snape" drawings.
By the way, Version "C" is the winner, though I've never officially announced it. The logo was designed to be one of the stamps that one sees on this site, but I don't know how to go about creating one. Does you have to be a premium member?
S.P.N.S. is a virtual organization. Anyone can join simply by using the tagline to admonish those who neglect Snape's nasal magnificence and to compliment those who glorify it. Humorously, of course, bearing in mind that every artist must follow her own muse, no matter how misguided in matters of The Nose. Considering your icon, I think it would be appropriate to extend to you an invitation to join the virtual Inner Circle of S.P.N.S. No painful tattoo required.

Thanks! I had to make a couple of S.P.N.S. comments just today: the first deducting ten points for a noseless Snape who looked like a girl, and the second awarding ten points for a chibi-Snape with a fine aquiline nose.
S.P.N.S. marches on!

It's a virtual club, so you can join on your own. Just use the tagline to gently admonish artists who leave Snape noseless or give him a tiny turned-up nose. It must be done kindly and in a light-hearted fashion. S.P.N.S. members do humor, not flames. And of course each artist must draw what she will, even if we wise folks at S.P.N.S. know better.
S.P.N.S. has also been know to award points to artists for depictions of our beloved Potions Master with a particularly fine hooked or aquiline nose, or for putting any sort of proper hooked nose on a chibi or a manga Snape.

I also have an unfortunate tendency to be brusque when expressing my opinions, and have a weakness for being witty at other people's expense. I work very hard at being amusing instead, though it doesn't always come across that way. That's why I emphasize to all potential members of S.P.N.S. the need to be light-hearted and to recognize that every artist must follow her own muse, whether nosed or noseless. We don't want members of S.P.N.S. to become known as flamers.
I will check out your hook-nosed Sev. In canon I don't think JKR actually refers to his nose as large, merely as hooked. It's fanon that makes it (and other parts of his anatomy) magnificently large.

There is no formal organization. All you have to do is use our tagline to admonish (gently!) those artists who fail to depict our beloved Severus in his glorious hooked nasality. I don't think canon requires that Snape's nose be unusually large, but it is ALWAYS described as hooked. I think aquiline will also do, but none of these weak, cutesy, turned-up manga noses.

It's also annoying when artists give him a turned-up nose. I know the turned-up nose is official manga style and the lack of nose is official chibi style, but for our beloved Sev and his magnificent hooked honker, exceptions should be made.
"C" is clearly the favorite. I won't be making an official S.P.N.S. group because I don't want to do the work involved all by myself, but anyone can belong to Virtual S.P.N.S. by using the tagline.

I'm going with C! It's got to be Slytherin green, and I think just the nose without the rest of the face could be a bit enigmatic. Snape's nose helps him sneer more effectively.
Are there noseless Snape's around? Voldemort has no nose, that is why we know noselessness is not a good thing! (Excepting people who have lost noses in accidents of course)

Chibi Snapes usually have no nose, and manga/anime Snapes have, at most, tiny turned-up noses. I realize this is usual with those styles of cartooning, but Sev is an exceptional character for whom exceptions should be made.
does a manga Snape with a little aquiline nose.

Changing the acronym is not a bad idea. I never occurred to me until Splitpea mentioned it that S.P.N.S. can be pronounced S-penis! But the added word would have to be something relevant, not just stuck in for the sake of the acronym. I don't think "Irrationally" will do because it implies it is sometimes rational to make Snape noseless, which it isn't! We will have to think on it some more.

I don't expect many votes for the two red versions. I originally made the lettering red because I almost always use vivid red as an accent color with black, but realized afterward it ought to be Slytherin green.
JKR never tells us exactly what shade Slytherin green is, so I used the green (60cyan + 75yellow) I developed for the lining on the robe worn by Snape in my drawing "Transfiguration Skills". I use the same color for Harry's (and thus Lily's) eyes, which is a bit heavy-handed, but who cares?
