I participated in a secret santa activity in a german digital art forum (so as you probably have already guessed, this picture is from dec 2007 xD)I was so happy I was to draw Daniel (www.digitaldecoy.de) a picture. His work is really admirable. He painted two pictures featuring this little boy so I thought I'd do a fanart for him.

The painting is absolutly beautiful and I clearly remember how I fell into complete awe when I opened up the ZIP containing my secret santa gift.

That is so lovely! The adventure really comes out by his expression and the atmosphere in the winged creatures, lighting and strange colours of the tree. I love all the different textures you used! The green at the foot of the tree and the mossy tree f.e. look awesome, it`s like you almost smell the forest.
