Sorry for uploading doodles recently, but - what's the good news - I'm finally working on something serious. Hold on

But yeah you've clearly gotten me beat on Orthographic drawings of guns...

Shading's hard with just a mechanical pencil... So I use a homemade smearer-majig. Tortillon is what it's called, I believe?

My favourite is the Steyr AUG-A2, most of the designs are great there are just one or two little details which I would change...like the Butt on the sniper rifle, it looks too short and too angled down. Now I'm just being finicky but it’s just a small thing which bugs me about an otherwise great design page!

Thanks. For me, the sniper rifle's butt kinda resembles the Thompson one. Was similarly angled.

Fair enough, I just know a butt running straight on from the barrel improves accuracy, that's one reason for the popularity of the Bullpup.

Cool. Why only 25 rounds for the AUG-2? I like the Pulse Rifle from "Aliens." 10mm caseless explosive AP ammo, 99 round mag.

JanBoruta In reply to Sturmgeschutz [2007-01-06 08:31:35 +0000 UTC]

25 rounds... I looked at the gun to see how many bullets would it carry and I thought "Crap, I've made the magazine too short". I wasn't too eager to correct it and scan once again so I wrote "25 rounds"...

Make them caseles so that you can cram huge amounts in a tiny space. That reminds me, the new H&K MP7 PDW will be chambered with a 4.7mm round. Jesus, thats a damn needle gun basically!

Yes, but its a needle gun that can defeat a kevlar combat helmet (YouTube: Future Weapons+MP 7)

Sturmgeschutz In reply to AtholTheDestroyer [2007-04-15 00:11:47 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that is true, but how much do you have to shoot a guy to kill him with that?

AtholTheDestroyer In reply to Sturmgeschutz [2007-04-16 19:01:28 +0000 UTC]

all it takes is 1 head shot...BOOM HEADSHOT!

Ha ha, yes, They are Star Wars weapons just because I didn't have any idea where to place the magazines and added small power cells on the left side. Now they're blasters

No Howitzers? Oh well, can't have everything can we, but to make them up, along with the names is no small feat. However, I have a feeling that I have heard of the Czerka corporation somewhere before *Ponders*

JanBoruta In reply to Daniel-Gleebits [2007-01-05 20:19:34 +0000 UTC]

It's a company for Star Wars.

Howitzers? Probable addition to future drawings.

Thanks for your comments, soldier

You're quite welcome lad.
And yes, that's likely where I heard it from, would explain why it kept making me think about Kuat yards and the Seinar Systems corp.
