When I saw this, the first thing I thought of was Washington crossing the Delaware. Do't know why.

Bravo, you've inspired me now! LOL i'm gonna have to do womething suitably epic!
you know, this picture is perfectly feasible, though the british army baloon corps was decades away, britain did have baloons, and there was always chance of a landing in france, though the beaches wouldnt be so heavily defended.
as for the hats, i love tricornes, put it down to personal preference, shako's were the rage, but if i were leading them, they'd wear tricornes!
anyway, awesome as ever mate!

Was it my royal marines mate? XD 61st Royal Marines on Devia. Very well done. You have the distance prospective down pat. However, I would not have done the hot air balloons. I think its just a bit too much. However, very nice piece.
Oh, for future tense during the Napoleonic times, the British Army and marines had Shakos, not tricorn hats. Have a look at the uniforms posted on the Dream Squadron forums, under 61st. That has the correct uniforms for that period if you need reference.
Wait... wasn't it Napoleon who was considering invasion of Britain, not the other way round?
