Description
Russian light cruiser Varyag in a fight against Austro-Hungarian airships over the Carpathians. Badly bruised, the ship tries to speed away from its opponents at full speed - all furnaces and turbines active, and all four smokestacks are in use.Unfinished concept piece that was meant to be a whole illustration - however, the only bit that was done in a so-so manner was the main hero ship.

Very nice touch to have shadowy crew visible.

In the finished piece there would definitely be more crew members visible. Guess I placed those two first to get a sense of scale.
