My apologies for imperfect photo - this is a round canvas painting that doesn't fit in my scanner at all, so I had to photograph. It has a tricky shape and I finished it on the day it needed to be delivered for art exhibition, it was a rainy, gloomy day so the lighting was terrible (I only use daylight to photograph).

I will make better picture when it returns from the show, which will be in a month. But I couldn't wait to share this with you. I haven't painted on canvas for AGES and I wanted to use watercolor.

I primed the canvas with watercolor ground by Schmincke, but I still had terrible experience with it. Watercolor doesn't such in the canvas at all, which makes it impossible to layer. One layer, however, is possible. This is what I used for the leaves. Rest I painted with watered down acrylics.
