Description
This is another version of "Overboard", I painted both in October 2012. First, already published version, was a rather small sketch followed by a couple of watercolor layers, second was painted as a commission for a person who wanted the painting in large format.Watercolor & Copic multiliner on 300g Fabriano paper, 42 x 60 cm / 15.7 x 23.6 "

This one has a lot more energy in it, maybe because the spatter is more widespread. I love both, but I think I may prefer this one.

I find this version, more animal, more intensive.
I see this painting (version b), as if the character lives the action, emotion (present) and the version a, I feels it like the past of the same action, emotion.
I always find it interesting to see how small changes can change the direction of reading...
