Description
A BOAT, beneath a sunny skyLingering onward dreamily
In an evening of July --
Children three that nestle near,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Pleased a simple tale to hear --
Long has paled that sunny sky:
Echoes fade and memories die:
Autumn frosts have slain July.
Still she haunts me, phantomwise,
Alice moving under skies
Never seen by waking eyes.
Children yet, the tale to hear,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Lovingly shall nestle near.
In a Wonderland they lie,
Dreaming as the days go by,
Dreaming as the summers die:
Ever drifting down the stream --
Lingering in the golden gleam --
Life, what is it but a dream?

it is a pretty good tattoo, but it is not completely true to the original one, not that detailed.
but tattoos are very difficult to get perfect.

This is absolutely amazing, very nicely done, you really get the impression of the movement in the cards, and the detail is fabulous - like the tiny mouse in her pocket. This seriously kicks arse!

no story really, i've just always had an infatuation with alice in wonderland. i love tenniel's illustrations.
i wish i could be in wonderland sometimes, where everything would be what it wasn't, and everything that
it wasn't was.
