Skunks are bred in a lot of different colors and patterns, including chocolate(I've had chocolate skunks), cafe-au-lait, apricot, blue and silver...a lot like Poodle colors, except you don't have to groom these! Most are bred on fur farms for their pelts, which are sold as "Alaskan Sable", as their fur is very soft and dense. The oddly-marked ones are sold as pets since their markings make it too hard to match their pelts up with others to make a coat. Furriers like albinos because their pelts can easily be dyed other colors so they can be matched up easily(it takes about 20 dead skunks to make a waist-length coat), so this one is lucky that it didn't wind up as someone's garment.
