Anyway I bought the beetlejuice cartoon from the 80's because a. i have no self control b. i consume all things tim burton and beetlejuice c. i was curious
and it turns out its really really cute??
Idk its defiantly a kids cartoon but I really enjoy it and there are so many puns and visual gags it physically hurts
not to mention Lydia is my perfect cinnamon roll goth child
and beetlejuice in this version is not a total dick???

Btw, my favorite characters are Beetlejuice (And all of his alter egos), Donnie (I have named my cat after him, ^^) Lydia, Mr. Monitor and, of course Jaques (I kind of disliked him at first for some reason, but he grew on me as time went by)!

I haven't watched all of it, but I'm watching it with my little sister! She loves it. Its so cute to see her like it!
I love Beetlejuice and Lydia, Lydia is my spirit animal i love her so much
And I only have season one, right now! I still gotta watch all of them, lol! The most recent one I watched was one where lydia was having a halloween party, and beetlejuice got out these little monsters in a can.

I'm kinda meh about the original movie. Lydia always looked too stereotypical of a goth girl. Maybe the actor was too bland about her role? Idk. I felt offended during the duration of the movie (And I am not the person to get easily offended) Anyway, I'd prefer the series over the movie any day tbh-
