Description
Present for my best friend, who's a fan of Anne of Green Gables.Anne has a wire skeleton and stands on her own at about 14cm (5.5").
The hair gave me some trouble, because there was just so much of it - more than I anticipated when preparing it, anyway. The hat turned out too small, but since I was short on time I didn't manage to rework it. (Lack of time is also the reason for the rather crappy setting for the photo shoot this time. Should learn to finish my stuff farther away from the deadline.

This is really cool! I just reread the first book about two weeks ago, so it is even cooler since it is still so fresh in my mind. The hair looks great!

I've read the books as an adult, since I didn't know of them before. but I liked them anyway.
so, while my friend is a much bigger fan, I definitely enjoyed making that doll.
and the WIP pics are as much for my audience as they are for me. it's how I remember the methods/techniques I used and to decide which to use again, which to develop and which to discard altogether. if it helps others with their own projects, that's a welcome bonus.
