Wow this is amazing - all of those different media to make a delicious - well carnivorous yet edible - salad!

Haha, never thought about that piece that way! By the way: have you seen the broccoli by bib93?

I didn't at first either! LOL!

I just looked it up now! WOW - he just posted it 16 hours ago and there are over 1500 views! Incredible! People must just LOVE their greens!

BTW, how do you get such a big complicated fractal to fit into your tiny icon? What size did you render at, how did you shrink it and to what size before uploading it on dA? TY!

And congratz on on the TWM!

I use Photoshop to do this. It's a marvellous program! You can scale images any way you want and combine them by using layers. It's easy to do this. In my icon 3 different fractals ald a picture where scaled and combined. You can send this combined image to DA and they create the icon for you. I suppose that's the way your icon was made too. I don't have the original of my icon anymore (can't find it), but it will cost me only 10 minutes or so the recreate it in 1000 x 1000 pixels. DA does the rest.

Hm...I do use PS but find PSP smaller and more intuitive so that's what I use mostly. I'd been using the bicubic to resize images with less than satisfactory results. Just now I due to your message, I thought of using the deform tool and that worked very well - just not too sure how to control it yet so that the size you want is correct!

Is that the method you're talking about?

I don't know PSP (some other type of Photoshop?). But in PS (under "edit")you can find the "transforms". Scaling, rotating, skew, warp, distort, perspective. It's possible to scale lineair or nonlineair. If the big image is okay, I use lineair downscaling (I mean downscaling width and height equally) to the right format.

Corel Paint Shop Pro...

I will look for that in both programs! Thanks.

Thank you! I looked for Scarfe's art on the internet, but found above all many cartoons. Very interesting though.
