Tori is a very caring individual, who has an irresistible urge to dote and adopt almost everything in sight. Which well earns her famous title of as the "barn mom" on most occasions. She is the tyle to shamelessly try to wipe dirt off your cheek, straighten your hair or shirt, and tell you to sit up properly and chew with your mouth closed. Although she can be a bit naggy at times, it's all out of good intentions to help. She is quite patient, and mature for her age and is capable of taking as much time as needed to explain things or help out if others are willing to listen oblige, this makes her a wonderful instructor, even for some challenging clients. Although she may be an infamous nagger at times, she is very gentle and lady-like and it is uncommon for her to lose her temper or raise her voice.

While she can be incredibly compassionate and protective, she is prone to being a bit of a "buzz kill" if you will, or the "party pooper", she isn't quite a fan of things that get too rowdy and chaotic as she likes everything around her to be more controlled and calmer. While she may not be a fan of clubbing or going to bars, she will oblige if one begs her enough and she might loosen up a bit, but not to the point she is slurring words and becoming an entirely different person. She much prefers quieter evenings when possible, with a bit of downtime as she can be a bit introverted by nature.

• Childhood

Tori grew up with a very altruistic family, her father was a traveling doctor specializing in natural and holistic medicine, while her mother was a nurse. The duo traveled all around the world from Brazil to Africa and beyond, providing free aid and medicine in impoverished regions. Tori came as a bit of a surprise to her parents, as her mom was discovered to be pregnant right in the middle of the tour, but still continued to work none the less. Tori was born on the job, in a medical tent, her father the one who delivered her. As a young child, Tori was mostly homeschooled by her mother who taught her along some of the local village children, as they frequently traveled all around. Medicine, compassion, and perseverance was something that was heavily embedded into Tori growing up, as she soon had aspirations to help others just like her parents. Tori was used to moving around all over the place, just when she was making friends her parents were called elsewhere and she would have to bid a sad farewell. It was when her mother became pregnant again with her twin younger sisters did they finally decided to settle down, back in their home country, Spain.

Once settled in one location, her parents felt a bit guilty for having denied her of some of the things most little girls were able to do (ballet, gymnastics, parties, etc.). They decided to enroll her in some riding lessons at a local riding stable to help adjust back after the move. It was at a young age that Tori decided this was what she wanted to do for the rest of her days. It was love at first sight, the moment her little 10-year-old rump sat in the saddle.

• Teenage/Young Adulthood

Tori kept mostly to herself as a young preteen and well into her teenage years, she was an exclusive face at the riding stable and soon began competing for them in Equitation and then into Dressage as she progressed. Her interaction was almost solely limited to her teammates and other riders and handlers at the stable. Everything seemed to be going fairly well until at the age of 14, her father was offered a job opportunity in the United States. Just as she was settling into her routine, things once more were changing as she and her family moved into a new country once more. This move seemed to impact her most, as she fell into a borderline depression, and completely shut down upon entering High School. Although by some chance of fate, it wasn't long before Neliah came into her life, and boy were they polar opposites! Neliah being involved in the Cheerleading squad and Dance team, and quite an extrovert. The two actually meet during Dance tryouts, while the other girls ostracized her for her heavier build and reserved personality, Neliah found something in her that the others didn't care to see, a wonderful friend and one talented dancer.

It wasn't long before the two were thicker than thieves and advanced so far on the team they even made it to varsity with Tori becoming a captain with much encouragement from Neliah. It was Nellie who pulled Tori out of her shell and opened her out, and for that, she is forever grateful for her. She continued to have a very eventful high school experience after that and even fell back into horseback riding as Neliah introduced her to a stable she competed for on their jumping team. Long days turning into nights spent at football games, weekends full of equestrian competitions and clinics, and dancing competitions, everything just seemed so right in life. It was a dream she never wanted to end, but graduation came around and the fear of everything falling away just like before, was very real. But luckily the girls vowed upon going to the same college together and being roomies until the very end.

After moving to Colorado with her Neliah, and settling into the hustle and bustle of college it didn't take long for the duo to catch wind about a developing stable in the works not too far off from them. What started out as a quick barn tour ended up being a long-term ordeal, and even a place to retreat after all the stresses from everyday life and academic studies. The stable has a very reminiscent feel of the very stable she first competed for back in her early childhood, she is determined to stay at any cost.

Whether it is peer reading some documents, or even checking his bookkeeping to make sure he is on track. She often gets on him about taking better care of himself, and taking a rest when needed. There has to be a "barn mom" to even put "barn dad" in his place every now and then.

Tori cannot help but dote over Rae whenever she sees her around, much like a persistent elder sister. In a way, Rae reminds her of her sisters growing up and is often trying to find ways to convince Rae to let her do her hair and makeup at times, along with trying to encourage her into wearing cuter outfits. Tori thinks fondly of her, seeing her a bright, intelligent young lady who will definitely make something of herself....with a bit of an encouraging push of course.

Despite the two being quite polar opposites, Tori and Jamison are on good terms miraculously, being incredibly patient and adaptive, she has grown quite used to the other's coarser mannerisms and the two make a pretty good team. She often seems a different side of him, one that is almost endearing and full of curiosity and question, much like a child, especially when concerning riding. Having more Dressage experience under her belt, she has taken James as sort of an apprentice and has been teaching him a few things or two, along with taking him along to clinics she frequents. Both coming from medical backgrounds, they are able to relate to most scenarios and conversations with each other, with the occasional debate of modern vs. holistic medicine, but it's surprisingly very tame and mature.

Neliah and Tori go way back, all the way to high school, even though Nellie is quite wild in comparison to her calm, mature demeanor, Tori can't help but love her. It was actually Neliah who helped the Tori come out of her shy, closed-off shell, as moving from another country in the middle of the sophomore year was quite stressful. Being one of the first people to open up and take her in with open arms, is one of her fondest memories. She is fiercely loyal to her, although isn't afraid to call the other out on her shenanigans if she deems Nellie is getting out of line, but this mostly due to concern and wanting what's best for her. The two girls have been through thick and thin, and plan to keep it that way for many years to come.

K.D., whom she often calls him by his name or just "Cai", is a very interesting individual to her, he is quite able to be a little gentleman most of the time on one hand..but on the other hand, he can be quite a mischievous stinker with a scathing tongue. (Theo's influence perhaps?) Just like with Theo, whenever Cai is around, she can't help herself and often tries to fix the collar of his shirt, tell him to tuck it in, fix his hair, in which K.D. often complains about more so than Theo. She knows he is a good kid, and is quite complimentary of his riding skills, along with taking on such a career in the SAR force. But she can't help but be quite worried about him, whenever he overworks himself or has too much negative exposure from his searches. She tries to give him his space at those times, but she often just pulls him into a hug when no one is around.

Not seen often without his right-hand man (K.D.) or gal (Nellie), she finds Theo to be a bit of a lost child that is in major need of manners and education on proper etiquette. She turns into very much a "mom", whenever the duo is around, trying to wipe away dust from his cheek, telling him to pull up his pants, and more importantly to watch that potty mouth as she holds a bar of tack soap forebodingly. She thinks Theo is a good kiddo and a somewhat redeemable caveman that can be turned around with enough nagging. (MAYBE).
