Passion Play
Great clouds over the whole day made me head out to the heathland near my hometown. I was hoping for a great sunset cause the day was so promising. I got lucky this evening, I was able to capture an amazing sunset.

A beautiful sunset indeed~........... 
I tried something like this once, ended up like this: [link] (It was too dark and cold for me to go outside so it was through a window. It's not much, but it's a start for a beginner like me, and I'm proud and grateful to have something to call my own.)
I'm sure you'll only improve in the future, but don't forget to take the time to look back on your past photos and see how far you've come. Keep deviating.

Veeery nice. I like how you caught the sunrays. Then there is the rain clouds and the part of blue sky, I love those contrasts. And you put the bolder in front in focus which makes the whole photo interesting in my opinion. A well done shot.

Ich saß am Montag während des Sonnenuntergangs im Auto auf'm Rückweg von der Uni und hab mir auch gedacht, dass ich das photographieren würde. Ist nur immer so ne Sache mit dem Vordergrund und so. Ich weiß halt wo das ist, und sehe den Weg links an der Seite; aber was soll man machen?
Ich hätte nur ne 2/3 Komposition genommen, halb und halb wirkt (zumindest bei Hochformaten) immer etwas statisch finde ich.

Der Weg war bei dieser Komp. unvermeidbar... 2/3 Regel hatte ich erst im Sinn aber bei dem tiefen Winkel, mit dem Vordergrund, hätte das zu viel Himmel gekostet und das wollte ich nicht... Habe noch ein Pano gemacht - kommt bald - da sieht man natürlich auch Wege(sind aber kompositorisch eingebaut). Da war die Sonne dann schon komplett weg und die Wolken feuerrot - bin mit dem processing noch nicht ganz fertig/zufrieden.

Hm, theoretisch hättest du noch mit den Tripod etwas niedriger setzen können, allerdings ein paar min vorher halt.

wäre eine Möglichkeit gewesen. Um ehrlich zu sein habe ich das alles recht schnell gemacht, weil ich den Stein erst nicht mehr in Kopf hatte. Also war die Option "ein paar Minuten vorher knipsen" nicht wirklich offen^^
