After 8 days of almost consistent rain the sky broke open and the city of Reine got sun-drenched! Given my previous yield image-wise I was prettty happy to get at least the "classical" view in good conditions. Reine is really one of theses places that work in every kind of light situation. Hope you like this one!

Ah yes, Norway! My lovely third home that I have yet to visit.
Lets see here, to start with what I'm not too impacted by. The darkness on the left half of the photo takes away from the brightness on the right side in my opinion, but at the same time it could be an artistic contrast. But when it comes to photos I'm not a big fan of having dim areas and brighter areas in a photograph.
Otherwise I'm enjoying this photo a lot! It reminds me a lot of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland here in Canada with all the brightly coloured houses sitting along the waters edge. The bright blue sky in the top right corner stands out to me, but that is likely due to the cloudy and darker left side of the photograph e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let… " width="15" height="15" alt="
