I'm sorry, I know it's been forever since this post of yours, but I am so tired of this stupid argument. The custom night is not proof of Mangle's gender. Mangle is a balancer in that preset.
For example:
In the preset Double-Trouble, there are the two Bonnies. Why is Foxy there if it's called double-trouble? Because it would be very easy if it was just the two Bonnies. By your logic, this means Foxy is actually Bonnie. :L (Ooh, Illuminati, bwaah, whatever.)
Mangle is the same. Some people say this is debunked by the fact that Mangle is set to 20 in that preset while Foxy is set to 15 in Double-Trouble, but the reason is that Mangle is very easy to fend off, while Foxy is a serious handful at level 20 and therefore has to be set lower to balance difficulty.

Get it?
Do not use Ladies' Night as a reason to say that Scott confirmed it, when he did no such thing.
