If you don't understand, "pro" is a part of word ProBot which is only a name and it doesn't mean that he think about his work as a masterpiece...
Just take my advice (only for ur own good):
Don't give any unconstructive advices for others if ur art isn't better than his or her art.

...You know that i as joking right? Also for 1, I made that ID when i first came to deviantart, which is almost a good three years ago.
If you want constructive critism, you can get it. metallic surfaces aren't supposed to be shaded like that. He also doesn't have a consistent light source except if the light source is coming from the POV.
If you want something, you can just ask normally. You don't have to be a douchebag and rip on people's old stuff.

no, I didn't find it funny...
It doesn't matter if ur stuff r brand-new or not. I've used ur Id and other work to show you that sometimes your unpleasant comments could hurt somebody.
To my mind, u r wrong. If u focus light on center of robot, it will be shaded like that, so it's only a matter of taste. And I'm sorry, but as for me sentence: "He also doesn't have a consistent light source except if the light source is coming from the POV." doesn't make any sense... It depends only on somebodys imagination
I'll repeat it again: You should be attentive on giving this type of unnecessary comment 'cause you could cut somebodys wings and it really doesn't help.

I wasn't really ripping on it. I was saying that he/she should make a noobbot to go with the Probot. For the lulz. It was honestly not meant to be unpleasant =T.
As to my critism. Metallic surfaces are supposed to be more shiny and have lighter colors, in general. I also said that if the same thing you said ''Except the light source come's from the POV'' we're looking from. AKA the center of the robot.
Once again, for your last comment, i wasn't ripping on him/her. I was just kidding around. I know i'm not that good of an artist, but you did make a really cheap shot at me by comparing something i made when i was 10 to something a way more experienced person did.
