Description
So this is the result of two things... a) my recent fascination with the original versions of fairy tales, b) my long-standing interest in religious icons. I've been wanting to try doing something in a similar style to icons for a while, but never got around to it... this isn't quite right, but I'm very happy with the way it came out. Unfortunately I have neither wood, nor tempera, which would be better way to do it, but I made do with what I had.
