This is a picture we took in the suite we were at after the walk on. My brother saw the area and thought it would make a great setting for a picture. It turned out nice.Related content

This is absolutely wicked! You've clearly done a lot of fabrication with this piece; did you also make the mask base, or did you buy an existing face and build off of it?

The mask was sculpted, molded, and casts.
The mask ussaly takes me the most time.
Since theΒ molding materials are not cheap I take my timeΒ making sure I don't make any mistakes.

I usually throw the armor together the week before a convention.
The crown's parts where sculpted and cast for the multiple parts.
The armor took me 3 days of construction.
I painted with my brother in the hotel room the day of the con.
We worked on the costume until we had to put it on and walk to the line for the contest.

Wow, that is so cool! Thank you for sharing your in-progress shots; I always find those so interesting, as you get to see something raw become so beautiful.
It's also crazy to think you accopmplished that armor in the week leading up! I've done some wild dashes with garb, myself, but to do all that painting and construction-- just, wow!
