The Picture carries great Emotion, the little Boy looks very lost and this is what is written in the Discription. I just didnt know that Autism appears this often, maybe because its not deadly and noone wants to speak about it if their Children are autistic.
Technically perfectly done, composition great, nothing to say that the Picture is well done.
Mostly I like the great capture of Meaning in this Picture and thank you very much for the Information about Autism. I hope this Picture will receive much Views and the viewing People read the Discription, learning about this.
A Daily Deviation would be great to spread the Picture and the Message it is sending.

Sorry for my bad English, I hope it can be understood e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/>

but the people who say that aren't really autistic or don't understand how autism gives good things whereas aids and cancer don't.

I myself have autism. it's the prevalence, meaning, More people are being Diagnosed with Autism as oppose to cancer & Aids. It is indeed growing faster than them both & the other disabling conditions... I do understand what you're saying, please don't get me wrong. They are not talking about a cure, I myself dont want to be cured. I dont want my oldest son to be cured either. We are perfectly made... The message is about awareness. Like "Realize the person you're dealing with may be autistic please be patient" it is also bringing up the point that Autism gets less research money than every other debilitating problem, even though the prevalence is much higher than said "other"

but it's still wrong because autism isn't comparable to cancer and aids

It's only comparing the prevalence. not the severity of the problem... I have Autism, and this is very easy for me to understand. I don't see how you are having such a problem understanding.... Only thing I can suggest from this point on is to look up the world "prevalence" Maybe then you will catch on as to what this study is saying.

but it's not right to use "aids and cancer" in the same sentence. it makes people think autism is a "disease"

Aww he's a cutie, I babysit two autistic kids, they're two of the sweetest kids I've ever met, they both have a lot of friends but when they grow up it's really sad to know that people will start to really judge them

Very expressive and emotime image. It really says what you hoped to accomplish with the focus on the child and the background blurred out.
